Manage Your Plan

How to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Commerce Kitty subscription, and where to find your invoices and payment methods.

Where to find billing

Click your name in the top right of the navbar and choose Billing from the dropdown. The billing page is the hub for everything related to your subscription: current plan, usage, invoices, payment methods, and plan changes.

Upgrading your plan

Open the billing page and click Update Plan. You will see all available plans with what each one includes. Pick the one you want and click through the upgrade flow.

If your account has a payment method on file, the upgrade takes effect immediately. If not, Commerce Kitty asks you to add one before the upgrade is finalized. The new plan starts the moment payment goes through.

Upgrades are prorated. You only pay the difference between what you have already paid and the new plan cost for the remainder of the billing period.

Downgrading your plan

From the billing page, click Update Plan and pick a smaller plan. Downgrades are scheduled to take effect at the end of your current billing period rather than immediately, so you keep the features you paid for until the period ends.

The billing page shows a banner with the scheduled downgrade and the date it will take effect. You can cancel a scheduled downgrade any time before that date if you change your mind.

If your usage exceeds the limits of the plan you are downgrading to, sync may pause when the downgrade takes effect. Check your current usage before downgrading.

Cancelling a scheduled downgrade

Open the billing page. If a downgrade is scheduled, the banner at the top has a Cancel Downgrade action. Click it to keep your current plan running past the scheduled change date.

Payment methods

Click Payment Methods from the billing page to see your saved cards. From here you can:

  • Add a new card
  • Set a card as the default
  • Remove a card you no longer use

Commerce Kitty bills the default card automatically each billing period. If a charge fails, you will get a notification and a grace period to update your card before access is paused.

Invoices

Click Invoices from the billing page to see your full invoice history. Each invoice can be opened to view its line items and downloaded as a PDF for your records.

If an invoice failed to charge, it will be flagged on this page with an option to retry payment.

Usage tracking

Each plan has a usage limit (typically based on order volume). The billing page shows your current usage for the period and how it compares to your limit.

Click Usage Logs for a detailed breakdown of what counted toward your usage and when. This is useful for understanding why your usage is higher than expected.

Cancelling your subscription

To cancel entirely, downgrade to the Free plan if one is available, or contact support if you need to fully close the account. We will help you export your data first.

Cancelling does not delete your data immediately. Your account stays accessible in a read-only mode for a period of time after cancellation so you can export anything you need.
