Association Types

Product Association Types allow you to define relationships between products.

Association Types are used to define relationships between products. These relationships could be Recommended, Cross-Sells, Up-sells, Related, and any other type of relationship you want to define.

Fields

Code

Unique user defined value.

Name

Name of the relationship.

Common Relationships

• Cross-sells

  • Additional Products that pair well with the current product. An example would be if the Product was a TV, a cross-sell might be HDMI cables.

• Up-sells

  • Used to show a better version of the existing product. An example would be if the Product was a 45" TV, an up-sell would be a 50" TV.

• Related
